Solar PV installation across South West Wales

Save money and the environment with our sv panels

Generate sustainable energy

Reduce your electricity bill and install a PV system onto your existing electrical equipment. Apart from reducing your appliance and lighting bills, the electricity you generate can also be used for high power appliances such as heating systems. Contact our solar PV installation experts today for more information about solar PV installations in Pembrokeshire.

Go green and get paid!

Through a government backed scheme you'll get paid for the electricity you generate. The Smart Export Guarantee scheme guarantees a minimum payment for all electricity generated by the system (generation tariff), as well as an additional payment for the electricity exported to the grid (export tariff). Reduce your electricity bill and earn an income knowing that your payments are index linked and guaranteed.

Solar energy round the year

Are you worried about your investment being fruitless on cloudy days? Solar PV does not need direct sunlight, so you can generate electricity even on a not-so-bright day. The electricity generated will depend on your system's orientation and its access to sunlight. Check your roof on Google Earth for orientation.

Measure the power you generate

It's important to measure and keep track of the electricity your Solar PV panel generates. The total amount of electricity the system actually generates in a year is measured in kilowatt hours (kWh).

A typical domestic system is between 1.5 to 4kWp. If un-shaded and perfectly south facing with a tilt of around 30-50°, each kWp should generate around 800 to 850kWh per year. According to your usage, the excess electricity generated is exported to the grid.

When you install Solarcell UK Ltd's high energy yielding Solar PV panels, you can get top quality products and a good return on your investment. Know your Solar PV panel

You can choose to install your domestic Solar PV in 3 different ways to capture as much sun energy as possible:

  • Roof-mounted
  • Built-in
  • Ground-mounted

‘Roof-mounted’ PV is the most cost-effective and most commonly used Solar PV installation.

When you're re-tiling your home, choosing a ‘built-in’ installation can enhance the aesthetics of your home. It’s a cost-effective alternative to a full tile replacement.

‘Ground mounted’ systems can be installed in agricultural fields and larger gardens, using secured framework.

"The components were of high spec and the price very competitive in deed. We were very happy with the schedule and installation; no fuss no mess and no leaking roof; a neat and tidy installation internally and externally. All the paper work was submitted on time and we are now receiving our tariff return."
